love.

Playing tennis was a saving grace for me at the beginning of quarantine. Then the courts closed… well, then everything closed. After several long months when things started to reopen, tennis was one of the first activities to start back up. Outdoors, fresh air and physical activity with just the right amount of social distancing.

The US Open begins this week. As with other sporting events there will be no fans in the stands.
This year the United States Tennis Association commissioned one of our artists, Cheryl Riley, among others, to provide custom artwork relevant to the Black Lives Matter movement and what it means to her. This artwork will be applied to the stadium seats in a prominent seating section in Arthur Ashe Stadium. To see more videos sharing the artists’ process, view the US Open website  and their Instagram.
