Last month CSM hosted an evening in the gallery for the Montclair Adult School Interior Design Class. Instructed by Montclair Designer, Alicja Truesdale the group spent the evening at CSM and discussed how art can define the spaces they are working on. We discussed how color and emotion can play an important role in what artwork is selected as well as hanging and installing. This is the second year that Ms. Truesdale has brought her students to CSM.
“I appreciated your effortless way of presenting on a topic that most find daunting and frankly a bit difficult to maneuver. One very common question I get from design students and clients is “how do I know what art to choose for my space?” You made it clear that art is whatever we want it to be and the presentation of that art makes all the difference in the world.” …A.
